SMS Messaging Program

Program Name: VeSoko Seller Notifications

How You Opt In: Sellers opt in to receive SMS messages from VeSoko through a single method: within their account profile or store settings on our website at vesoko.com. The user enters their mobile phone number into their profile, and then must manually check an unchecked checkbox to consent to receive SMS messages. The checkbox is not pre-selected. Directly next to the checkbox, the following disclosure is displayed: "By checking this box, I agree to receive order confirmations, shipping updates, delivery notifications, and customer support SMS messages from Vesoko. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. View our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." The Terms of Service and Privacy Policy text are clickable links that open the respective pages. By checking the box, you expressly consent to receive transactional SMS messages from VeSoko related to your orders, payouts, and store activity. Opting in is not a condition of selling on the platform. Because this opt-in flow is behind a login, a public screenshot of the opt-in process is available at: View SMS Opt-In Screenshot.

What Data We Collect: We collect your mobile phone number and your SMS opt-in consent status. This information is stored securely and used solely for the purpose of sending you transactional SMS messages.

How SMS Data Is Used: Your phone number is used exclusively to send you transactional SMS notifications including new order alerts, order status updates, payout notifications, and account security alerts through our SMS provider, Twilio.

No Third-Party Sharing: Your SMS opt-in data, phone number, and consent status are never sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with Twilio for the sole purpose of delivering SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio's use of your data is governed by Twilio's Privacy Policy.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your store activity. You may receive approximately 1–5 messages per order received (e.g., new order alert, payment received, shipping reminder, payout notification).

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. VeSoko is not responsible for any messaging or data charges from your carrier.

Opting Out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to any message you receive from us, or by updating your notification preferences in your seller dashboard settings. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.

Help: For help or questions about SMS messages, text HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us at [email protected] or call +1 (844) 837-6560.

In the event Vesoko is acquired, merges with another company, or undergoes a business restructuring, your data may be transferred to the new owner under the same privacy obligations. Sellers will be notified before such transfer and may request account deletion beforehand.
